Renewal of the agreement with Tekniker.

ZAYER renews its collaboration agreement with the Eibar technology centre, betting once more for R + D + i, for boosting its activity and contributing to the economic reactivation of the
industry.

The collaboration between ZAYER and Tekniker began in 1994 and has been strengthened over the years, currently becoming collaborators of the centre. Using the words of our Managing Director Iñigo Pérez, “We have created an environment close to the market, with solutions that advance the maturity of the technology created and reducing the time-to-market of innovative’.

This collaboration is closely linked to the loan of ARION G, the machine of high-performance winner of the 2018 BIEMH innovation award.

It’s about a multifunction machining centre, flexible, accurate and connected. The collaboration is focus to address future projects towards the design by finite elements and experimental of Zayer machines.

• A project to improve machine precision based on much more accurate and faster laser-assisted assembly has been recently completed. Truly innovative measurement and control tools have been used for this.
• The current project financed by the CDTI aims to develop new multi-process capacities that allow maximum number of operations to be carried out on the same machine. Also guarantee quality by avoiding process vibrations, as well as increasing availability by knowing the actual condition of the machine.

It will be possible to advance in all these projects faster than ever with the ARION G machine at the Tekniker facilities, as this machine allows to work in real environments and achieve results quickly transferable to the market. We keep moving forward!
