ZAYER attends the EMO 2019, which will take place in Hannover from September 16 to 21, to present its latest advances in top-level machining solutions. The attendees of the fair will be able to know in detail the ARION G and KAIROS models, which will be exhibited in a stand of more than 400 m².

ARION G

The ARION G multitasking machining centre unifies the milling and turning capacity on the same machine. Thanks to its bridge structure, it allows turning easily, both outside and inside diameters, without using tools of great lengths and giving greater rigidity and reliability.

ARION G has a rotary table with direct motor, diameter 2000 mm and a large load capacity (20t). It has a 45º continuous rotation head with 42 kW electrospindle at 15,000 min^-1. In the same electrospindle, you can clamp both milling and turning tools, since the electrospindle has a special lock for turning tools.

KAIROS

With a renewed design, KAIROS is the result of the evolution of the moving column range, with greater heights, more power and greater torque, but maintaining the characteristics of precision and reliability, characteristics that are a benchmark of the Zayer brand. This new model stands out for its great versatility and is intended for the machining of large parts.

KAIROS is equipped with 4 rack and pinion motors on large vertical travels, thus improving the dynamics of the axis.

The automatic head changing station is movable on the longitudinal axis, which allows the use of the machine in all its longitudinal travel.

The operator’s platform incorporates ergonomic improvements, with soundproofing panels and betting on a straight-line design for a greater space of operations. An adjustable control panel and better LED lighting have been added, in addition to installing a camera to facilitate the visibility of dead zones. KAIROS platform also has vertical movement and advance movement for the control of the machining in the high areas of the parts.
